MARCH
I will be working with students in CA at Cal Poly Pomona March 12th.
On March 20th, I’ll be presenting a 5-hour preconference session at American String Teachers Conference in Louisville, KY with two innovative educator/multi-style players… colleagues Robb Janov and Rudolf Haken.
On March 21st, I’ve been invited to provide 3 booth appearances (NS Design, D’Addario Orchestral, and Excelcia Music Publishing).
March 22nd, my clinic titled “Mental Stamina and Kaleidoscopic Thinking,” will take place at 10AM.
I then fly from KY to Portugal to present 3 sessions at the European String Teachers Conference in Porto: “How Setup Influences Tone—Even with Great Strings,” “Why Amplify? Why Master Technology for Strings?” and “The Musical Brain.”
MAY
After catching my breath, I’ll be working with string students at Crane School of Music in upstate New York followed by a residency in New Jersey to premiere Programs I and II of the Planet Strings Informance project with students in the Cinnaminson school district.
JUNE
Strings Without Boundaries will take place from June 27th to June 30th conjoined with New Directions Cello Festival… same location, same building. Pay for one, get both.
