ASTA Board Chair Dr William LaRue Jones has invited me to attend the 2019 ASTA National Conference as the eclectic styles master class clinician.  The conference will  held March 7-9, 2019 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

I’m also scheduled for a number of other sessions as well as in the closing number for Rachel Barton Pine’s concert.

Wednesday, March 7: Yamaha will host a reception on Wednesday evening. It will include an informal meet and greet of the Chapter leaders and National String Project Consortium partners as well as to introduce Eclectic Styles players and resources.

Thursday, March 8, 11:15 am: I will present a session titled Brain Dominance and its Effect on the Learning Process

Thursday, March 8, 2:15 p.m.
I will coach two student players in an Eclectic Styles Master Class format open to all conference attendees to observe.

Thursday, March 8, Evening Concert with Rachel Barton Pine:
My colleagues and I will participate in the grand finale in an electric strings chamber orchestra setting.
