Julie Lyonn Lieberman is the author of thirteen groundbreaking BOOKS; six DVDs; over a dozen TRAINING VIDEOS on Youtube—originally developed for D’Addario Orchestral (Playing Healthy, Capturing the Style, and Bollywood Strings); and over two dozen eclectic styles string ORCHESTRA SCORES published by Alfred Music and Kendor Music.
She is the editor and creator of the Newtown Peace Park Handbook; a co-author (with Stephen J. Benham, Mary L. Wagner, Jane Linn Aten, Judith P. Evans, and Denese Odegaard) of American String Teachers Association’s curriculum book, Standards, Goals, and Learning Sequences for Essential Skills and Knowledge in K-12 String Programs published by Alfred Music; and has been published in a book by STRINGS Magazine, Healthy String Playing.
She helped develop the jazz curriculum for The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, and has written over 50 magazine articles for publications such as STRINGS Magazine, ASTA Journal, STRAD Magazine, DOWNBEAT Magazine, and FIDDLER Magazine to name a few.
