After the premiere of her ASTA Board-requested composition for ASTA's opening ceremony titled String Dreams (to be premiered by Lyceum Orchestra under the direction of Kayson Brown), Julie will present a clinic titled "Drumming Circles" at the American String Teachers Association's National Conference. She will also make an appearance at the J.W. Pepper Booth for the grand opening of the exhibition hall at 5 p.m. Booth No. 410.

Julie's newest book (including video tutorials and backing tracks) with Hal Leonard, How to Play Contemporary Strings: A Step-by-Step Approach for Violin, Viola, and Cello is now available! Her new score,  String Dreams, will go into print this month as well. This score was commissioned by the ASTA Board for the opening ceremony at the 2015 SLC conference and is being published by Carl Fischer.
