American String Teachers Conference

Julie will be presenting during the ASTA Pre-conference session from 12 - 5, March 1st, on Musician's Wellness issues along with the other members of the ASTA Board-appointed Wellness Task Force. The conference will take place in Pittsburgh, PA. She will also present a clinic at 2:15 p.m. on March 2nd, "How to Play Contemporary Strings," based on her new book published by Hal Leonard. Strings Without Boundaries

Julie will launch a new location for SWB in Omaha, NE the week of July 23rd. The event will launch with a Tune Contest (prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), a String Soiree with refreshments and live music at University of Nebraska at Omaha sponsored by D'Addario Orchestral Strings, and classes and jam sessions Monday through Thursday. Faculty will include Randy Sabien, Matt Turner, Julie Lyonn Lieberman, and April Verch.
